'"Bungaku Shoujo"(literary girl) Series' is a Japanese light novel series written by Nomura Mizuki. Takeoka Miho was in charge of the illustrations. A total of 16 books (8 long volumes, 4 short volumes, and 4 external volumes) were published from April 2006 to April 2011 from Famitsu Bunko (Enterbrain). Based on this work, it has been adapted as a comic book or a theatrical animation. The cumulative number of copies printed exceeded 2.5 million on April 30, 2011.
